View Larger My grand father, Roger Epply, was General MacArthur’s Cinematographer during WWII. I don’t know what possessed me to look this up today, but I found out that he filmed the famous scene where MacArthur wades to shore in the Philippines. Perhaps this is where I get my penchant towards mai tais and tiki lanterns.
